Understandably, a nod at his award-winning 2007 hit, “Never Would Have Made It”, the biopic chronicles Sapp’s upbringing, battle against teenage alcohol abuse, love for Malinda Prince, rise in the music industry, and growth in his faith. Angee was cast as a church member and can be seen sitting in the same pew as young Marvin, as well as in the church vestibule behind Marvin and Malinda.

Lifetime’s original thriller “Suitcase Killer: The Melanie McGuire Story, is a real-life case of the former fertility nurse and mother of two who drugged, shot, then dismembered her husband, William McGuire before disposing of his body in three suitcases and throwing them into the Chesapeake Bay. Angee was cast as a featured background role as a social worker, who had the difficult task of removing Melanie's children from her parent's house after she was arrested.
